updated 2009

These beaches are so remote that you will not find more than 100 people, in between Sodwana and Ponta de Ouro, along 80km of pristine coastline." From Sodwana in the south you will get the beaches in the following order, 9 Mile beach, Mabibi, Island Rock, Lalanek, Rocktail Bay, Black Rock, Dog Point, Castle Rock, Rabbit Rock and Bhanga Nek beach all in a row. Bhanganek is a dead end and then you have to travel south and inland across a small river before you can go to the Nortern side of Kosi Lakes sytem and the estuary where the lakes mouth into the Indian Ocean. and Kosi Mouth as the most northern beach. The Kosi mouth, where the lakes mouth into the Indian Ocean, is the only beach on the northern side of the lakes.
